Woot, woot! Finally putting something out there while I try to finish that darn chapter four of 366th Overlord. The Heartless Bastard is a short story of 3 to 5 parts. Premise so far: Reese is searching for a man named Gerimiah in a kingdom ruled by a religious order. Knowing that the man is an Archmon ( a head of the holy knights), she conceives a plan to lure him out except it doesn't go the way she planned...stay tune! You can read the first part on:

I'm stuck on a scene in chapter four of 366th Overlord. Also I re-read some stuff on the first chapter and I'm thinking of writing that all over (this is like what? The third time?). Soooo, blasted I'll work on this. On a side note, I read on a blog that some authors write to music. They kinda have a theme song or soundtrack for their stories and, I being a music lover, have my own tracklists. So I show all the music I write with:

Finally got it and it feels like Christmas. Anyways, I got the first half of chapter four done. It's posted on both my fictionpress and deviant heart accounts. Please look at previous post for links. Secondly, I also did a sig for forums. I drew what I conceptual see for Jaya, Arilyn and Harduke. Second half of the fourth chapter will be posted, hopefully, by Sunday. Not making any promise but I'll really try.

These will be updated with the latest chapters and revisions. Chapter Four is currently 17oo words and will be at least 3,000 words long. I tend to keep them that short because people are reading the story on line. I'll probably end up like with fifty chapters :D.

halfway revising chapter three and realized I have to change chapter one. Yikes! Changing a lot in the story and may split 366th Overlord into two books at Arilyn must travel through Arangkor to find a way beyond the barrier.

Yes, I'm still working on 366th Overlord chapter three redo. However, I am also working on a short/novella story for a contest of sort. I'll post it after the contest is over in February. The new short is kind of a Slayer meets Fringe in a mystical Land. LOL. Anyways, I hope people are doing fine and keep on writing.

Er, yeah, I suddenly wanted to take 366th Overlord story in a different direction. I've revised the second chapter (and I'll be revising the first chapter to follow the second one logically) in a, in my opinion, better direction. I wanted to flesh out Arilyn and Jaya's chars as well as showing the the problems in Arangkor that will lead up to the conflict our heroines get caught up in. Also I wanted to show that Jaya is a terrible fighter but uses her mind and magic to win (or cheat, the more precise word). I also wanted to slow down the pace and build the world of Lando and Arangkor. Plus I wanted to present a new problem and Kalee's and Isiana's true intention. One of the theme in this story is that things happened for a reason, good or bad, for the world to continue. I'm really grooving with this new direction.

Though I am sorry that, for those that enjoyed Legend of the Wandering Warrior, I will not continue that story for now but instead insert snippets of it in 366th Overlord. I love Allegra and Frey but I love Arilyn and Jaya more :D. I do intend to finish Legend of Wandering Warrior in the future but first let me set the world up so it would be consistent with 366th Overlord and its sequel, The Smiling Wonder.

Damn, I was gone. Anyways I finished chapter four of 366th Overlord. Now I'll be writing in new material where it's like an almost diary of Arilyn's travels and training in the so-called-land of Demons. Then after that, right back to the main plot and her search to get to the otherside of the Chasm.

I'm Legend of Wandering Warrior on Hiatus

Since I'm lacking time and I want to finish one story up, I'm putting LWW on hold since it is a back story. However, Allegra's and Frey's stories do not end there. Only beginning in the 366th Overlord. I've written a prologue summary that I may or may not put into the 366th Overlord. I'm leaning into where I'll reveal the LWW events, as necessary, in the 366th Overlord.

But for you spoiler people (people who don't want to be spoiled, stop reading this immediately!), I'll post the prologue here-->

From the Records of the Bone Witch, Nimhar: Legend of the Wandering Warrior

In the year of the 2366^th Sun of the 2^nd Moon, the world of Lando was inhabited by humans and elves. However, the threat of the demons had presented Lando with annihilation. From time to time elves and humans combined their powers to keep these creatures at bay.

Then one day, across the lands, word broke out that the human kingdom, Bastile, had changed. The king had died, the Elven princess who was there in talks of trade had been murdered and a traitorous half-elven was executed. War was imminent between Bastile and the elven kingdom, Paramecia. But before the war could commence, the ‘traitorous’ half-elven returned to Bastile alive and well.

She came to right a wrong and in her hand was the legendary blade of the Goddess. With the backing of the elves, the help from the human rebels and the companionship of the healer, Frey the Wanderer, she stormed Bastile but found the castle completely infested with demons.

She hacked and slashed her way to the core where she confronted the man responsible for the elven princess’ death and the demons. That man was Prince Xavier and he had one the unthinkable by aligning with the demon, Harthor. An epic battle ensued where Allegra slew the demon Harthor with the Goddess’ blade and spared the feeble Prince.

She left the Prince to be decided by the human rebel leader, Eric Nightingale. Eric gave a long speech into clearing the half-elven’s name and executed the Prince as the true traitor. As for the half-elven herself, she had disappeared—leaving the Goddess blade in the hands of the newly crowned Eric Nightingale.

No one has seen or heard of her since but rumors have it that a half-elven wanders the land, helping those in need. Thus was the legend of the Wandering Warrior.

Chapter five is slightly in a different time to show what happened in Para while Frey and Allegra were traveling there. Samus wasn't in the original outline but I thought a third person to show the Queen's other self since she's usually cold. The next chapter will return back to where I left off on chapter four. What will Allegra do when she has to go to Faelwen and ask the Queen to not go to war?

Damn that was a long chapter. It's a whopping 4k something of words! Hehehe, I liked doing this chapter. The next one gets even better :D. Yeah, I'll try to finish the story this week cuz I'm itching to go back to the 366th Overlord. I also did a time line of the world and how it came to be so that I can make sure there isn't any plot holes. If there is, point it out to me :D.

Yesh, I am aware of many errors but that is what first drafts are right???? LOL, point them out for me! Spelling, grammar, tone, pov's, plot holes, inconsistency, dialog, the works! I just post on them here to see the mistakes clearer. Anyways, working on the Legend of the Wandering Warrior. It's really a big huge backstory but y'know, I like the characters Allegra and Frey. Oh, I'm also working on a MAP of Vaalbara after the Mother of All Mage Wars split the continent into two: Lando and Arangkor.

Fourth Chapter for 366th Overlord is really long so I might stick some into chapter three (if logical). That one will have a revision from the original as I've decided to write in the time gap. For the 2nd book, Smiling Wonder, that one is a whooping 50k already but since I'm dramatically changing the story, I have to rewrite that one too! So yeah, y'all get to see my trials and errors and what not. The joys of revision and editing, whoopie-dooooo~! I'll post if there was are revisions to the stories.

So many stories to follow! So many of the authors on twitter! I have a policy on the authors on my twitter--that the authors I follow I have read, will read or is currently reading. I only think it's fair since I'm their follower so let me break it down some of the stuff I'm reading and a little review:

Currently following:

Eikasia by Illise Montoya (twitter cajeck): I normally don't like first person and especially shuffling 1st person with third person view. That being said I liked this one. Plot was slow at first but it began to pick up and I found myself waiting anxiously for the next installment (thank heaven she updates every friday!). The writing, for a kind of first draft, is damn good. Romance is damn good. The world building is damn good. Everything in this story is damn good. So read it if anyone is reading this.
Peacock King by Erica Bercegeay (twitter irkdesu): Again another kind of shuffling like Eikasia but not like Eikasia but so far still good. I'm on chapter five of the first book and like it so far. Plot I'm still wondering why Lyric left and what is Mr. Peacock's agenda if he has one? Gerald is wise-cracking and I'm waiting to see if he'll use his gun. So far, so good.
Crank by Piaveleno (twitter PiaVeleno): Read the premises and the first chapter, er first post, and it's so-so. Need to read more to give a more substantial reviewish. I'm not a fan of vampire stories but let's see if this one changes my mind.

Stories currently following but no twitter (yet):

Flowers of Edo: A ghost story by Nene Adams: Interesting. I am waiting to see if Kazuko kicks ass and kill a whole bunch of people kill bill style. Good writing here too. Plot begins to pick up on chapter three.

Stories I've been eyeing and pegging to read later:

Stonebringer by Tome Howe (twitter TomYHowe): It's on PDF and looks mighty interesting. I read a little bit of the first chapter. Just two or three paragraphs really. Again, this story is a first person view so, hmm, I hope it's good. I'm hard to please.
Swords and Sigils by Sharon T. Rose (twitter sharontherose): This one I read snippet of the first chapter. I liked the pace and set up. Writing is good, doesn't bore me so far. When I'm done reading catch up with the other stories, I'll definitely read this one next.
Phantasia by Darien Meredith (twitter Darydith): It was the art. Seriously that caught my attention. Also the story summary seems interesting enough for me to check out later!
Philosopher in Arms by Karen Wehrstein (twitter Chevenga): OooO, this one is long had have been publish! Actually how I found this story was that I was looking for another story, Snow Brothers by S.M. Stirling cuz I got a recommendation. She told me it had kick ass lesbians. That's kudo points with me. Anyways, apparently there these group of authors that have created a fantasy world, the Fifth Millenium, and I thought it was cool how these different stories in the same setting came together. This story is part of this world and I am mighty curious. Plus premises sounds interesting.

Talk about finding descent web hosting! Rip-off! And most are already doing away their free web hosting like yahoo geocities and those that still do have very little storage (5mb I found on one free web hosting! What the hell can I do with just 5mb? A couple of pictures maybe).

So Imma stick to using this blog to post my story and pimp it out once I read through the html stuff. Good thing blogspot lets you customize the look of your blogs. As y'all can see to the left, there's a link to 366th Overlord--the first book. Yeah, go check it out as I'll have chapter two up and I'll be pimping that blog too. This blog will be my main one where I write updates, my blocks and what not :D. Oh, also I'll be drawing up some stuff to post. That should be fun ehhehehhe :D.

Talk about ridiculous! I intended to write the other story (that i'm entering at the Atheneum) in November during Nation Novel Writing Month. Basically I write a 50k word novel in thirty days. Insanity? Yes, but I thought it would be awesome drilling away on my laptop in starbucks with other contestants. SO instead I started to write yesterday. Yeah, but I'll try to do it in the the 30 days limit as originally intended. I couldn't help it. This story has been in my head for awhile and it's a sad one (0_0).

Other than that, I have lots of work to do. Particularly chapter one of 366th Overlord. Lots of grammatical problems and passive voice. I really hate those to be forms, lawrl! Anyways I just installed gimp to help me pimp out my website. I need a baddass logo....

They are asking for submissions like short stories for their LBGT theme of the month. Of course the stories must be fantasy or sci-fi involved. I figured I'd give it a shot except the word count is 1,000 to 8,000 for a short story. Due date for submission is Sept. 30.

I was thinking of doing a story on Vaalbara before the Mother of All Mage Wars broke out. Perhaps a story for Jayashri I? I already have a pirate fantasy story set in Vaalbara. Now I need a theme, something clever or very meaningful. The word count range indicates they want something very substantial. Or should I go with a suggestion I was given of something depressing? Hum, so many things I could write!

Man, I'm beginning to think I'm never going to finish the 366th Overlord. Currently I'm working on a side story for book three. It's part of the Misadventures series. They're really just what ifs in order for me to delve more into the characters. Would I post them up? Probably not (aww, I know sux) because they're just exercises and not cannon to the stories. Some of the elements and plot devices may show up in the stories. Anyways, I'm going to try to finish it today. Misadventures are usually short stories :D. After that, it's back to 366th Overlord.

Snark! I'm finally getting around putting my damn story up

Not quite done and I've been working on this story for months! So many revisions, half-writes and decisions! I'm already past the 40k words in the second book and yet I haven't finished the first book! The first book I'm like already 30k and I'm thinking of going back and fill in the year time jump just so people could see development. I'm guessing the story might hoover at 60k, yikes!

At first I was set on doing three books but then I didn't like the first book really. I mean, I liked it but it was a pain because they were really secondary characters in the second book. It was only going to be a novella in length and the main characters don't even show up! After re-reading what I wrote of the first book I decided that it was too much of a backstory that could be put in the second book (the real interesting stuff). I'll let the readers figure out the past and those characters relationship with the main characters. Perhaps in the future I'll finish that novella and post it. Oh, don't worry. It's still going to be three books. I suddenly had a vision of the third story and it's super awesome! So the three titles of the trilogy are: The 336th Overlord, Smiling Wonder, and Samsara. Just a little FYI, the novella was titled: Legend of the Wandering Warrior.

I'm going to need a beta reader soon but as always, I liked to get to the point where I'm almost done. I already have the last chapter written out. Just need to connect the beginning with the end. Hehehe, it's going to be fun...30k more words >_>! Oh, and my awesome artist sister-Ann Bree--has drawn me a pic of one of the main characters: Jayashri "Jaya" S'mraoha III. I say, she got the face down.
